Genuine CBD products may be rarer than we believe. In most countries that allow CBD products commercially, there are also laws that regulate what can and cannot be written on a label. In particular, what can be mentioned as an ingredient. Such regulations might cause people to think that all CBD products and what they claim to be. But think again. Beware of hoaxers in this business as well! As sad and discouraging this may seem, there is an easy way to spot genuine CBD products.

As the reports of the benefits of CBD products mount, so does the interest for and consumption of CBD products grow. In relation, so does the market. With that also grows the number of companies and products that want a piece of that hemp-money pie. However, genuine CBD products may be rarer than we believe.

“on the unknowing consumer’s side, there are the ingredient labeling laws”

There are some companies that are ready to exploit certain loopholes in the fresh CBD market, by praying on unknowing consumers. This surprisingly often is done by intentionally mislabeling their products. Such an example is to use the term CBD in the product name, while the product contains no Cannabidiol at all.

Another trick is to market it as CBD products through different means, such as mentioning the Hemp plant in the product description. While the product is only a hemp seed product. HEMP SEEDS CONTAIN NO CBD!

But on the unknowing consumer’s side, there are the ingredient labeling laws, which more or less force the companies to state what the product really contains.

So to make life easier and safer for people in the CBD buyers market, a list of names for CBD has been compiled. These names for CBD are some of the ones that can be found in the ingredients list label on genuine CBD products.
