November 12th, 2008
legalization of marijuana
Love Rum asked:

I’m writing a persuasive essay on marijuana legalization. I want to make an intelligent argument and I’m therefore asking for links to good medical studies, writings, reports, and any other information from legitimate sources you can give me to support medicinal and recreational use. ( No form of the statement Being High is awesome makes for a good argument.)

Also, do you have to be 18 to be prescribed medical marijuana? Oh, and is there now or will there ever be any hope of legalization for recreational purposes here in the U.S. or anywhere else besides amsterdam? Weren’t they trying to get it on the ballot in california? And if it were legal what do you think the age restriction would be and how would it be sold? Like in comnveince stores like beer and cigarettes or in places like ABC stores for marijuana? Thanks alot.

How do you feel about medical marijuana?

Ham Sandwich asked:

The DEA says that marijuana has no medical value (they enforce federal laws) but the federal government grows marijuana for medical marijuana patients not many but a few. So they’re obviously lying to us saying marijuana has no medicinal value when they grow it for people for medicinal purposes. Many doctors also agree that marijuana can be used for medicine and the national association of science. So what is the REAL reason for the federal government keeping marijuana illegal? They obviously know it can be used for medicine. Your thoughts.

Why doesn’t the government just legalize it and start trying to make some money off it?
Wouldn’t it cut down on a lot of the illegal drug trade that is fueling other Countries genocide?
